How Does 4G Outdoor Router Work?
The outdoor router is a standalone 4G WiFi router with a CAT4 cellular modem, dual SIM card slots, WiFi hotspots, and an Ethernet port.
After inserting a workable SIM card, the outdoor router connects to the 3G or 4G networks and accesses the cellular internet. The CAT4 modem provides a maximum 150Mbps download speed.
Then, the outdoor router provides 4G cellular internet to wireless devices like smartphones, tablets, and home appliances linked to its WiFi hotspots. It also passes through the internet on wired connections such as computers, switches, or indoor routers connected to the PoE injector.
